I don't often have Saturdays free to write, and even now it is only a few minutes.  But I thought I'd pass along a link to a talk given by D. A. Carson:

His talk speaks directly  to several different current concerns in Christology, particularly in how we should understand the title "Son of God."  Char's blog post on Kenotic Arianism hits on some of the relevant issues.  Rey has a collection of links at the Bible Archive, too.

One of the things that Carson does in this brief overview (clocking in as it does at slightly over an hour of talk time) is to link the Old Testament views on the Son of God to the New Testament views on the Son of God, tracing its development, as it were, to a more modern understanding of the deity of Christ vis-a-vis his humanity.

The implications are manifold, and he's really only scratching the surface here.  It's a great talk.
